Business Overhead

"There are two incomes that must be protected, personal and business."

Business Overhead Expense is designed to reimburse your business for expenses incurred during your disability. This type of policy can insure up to $30,000 per month if needed.

If you are self employed, a business owner, or even in a partnership, your business expenses will typically continue during your personal disability. The overall effect of a disability can indeed be devastating to both you and your business.

The Benefit Period for Business Overhead Expense is usually from 12 Months to 2 Years, as opposed to your personal disability policy, which should cover you to at least Age 65.

The Elimination Period or waiting period for Business Overhead Expense is normally 30 days as opposed to your personal policy, which is usually 90 days.
